Rapper AJ Tracey who is known to be an ardent Tottenham Hotspur fan has taken to Twitter to claim that he has been informed that Ryan Sessegnon is open to a move to the club.
Tracey’s post was accompanied by a photo of the Fulham player at a nightclub along with an individual with his face covered by an Emoji to shield his identity.
Sessegnon is out of contract at Craven Cottage at the end of next season and has already told the Championship club that he will not be looking to renew his deal amid interest from Tottenham (Guardian).
The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in England despite his disappointing maiden top-flight campaign with Fulham and the opportunity to link up with Mauricio Pochettino who has a track record of getting the best out of his players would certainly be a smart switch.
Fulham are said to want £45 million for the left-sided player while Spurs are prepared to pay closer to £25 million given the fact he could walk away from the club in twelve months time with just a small ‘training fee’ being required to be paid by his new employer (Guardian).
