Real Betis show their class with message to Giovani Lo Celso

Tottenham Hotspur yesterday finally ended their long pursuit of Giovano Lo Celso just hours before the summer transfer window slammed shut in England at 5pm.

The 23-year-old midfielder completed a season-long loan deal to the Champions League finalists with an option to make the transfer permanent (Spurs official).

His club, Real Betis showed their class with a message on Twitter to the Argentina international and Spurs in which the La Liga side said to take care of him whilst also managing to squeeze in a mention of the North London club’s motto, To Dare is to Do.

He made 45 appearances for the Spansh club in all competitions last season, scoring an impressive 16 goals from the middle of the park and will certainly add another layer of creativity to Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield (BBC).

Lo Celso could end up becoming Christian Eriksen’s replacement, if the Dane does depart Spurs before the end of the month.
