Report: Arrival of player could spark two departures at Tottenham

Fulham could be set to use the transfer funds which they could receive as part of Ryan Sessegnon’s sale to Tottenham Hotspur to fund the purchase of two players from the North London club.

The Telegraph report that Tottenham are closing in on a deal for Sessegnon which is said to be worth around £20million plus add ons.

According to the report, it is unknown whether Spurs will offer Josh Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou to the Cottagers as part of a deal or whether Fulham will sign the pair following the sale of Sessegnon.

The 19-year-old is keen to move to Tottenham to play under Mauricio Pochettino where he feels that he will have a fair opportunity of playing first team football despite him being on the radar of Manchester United.

Nkoudou and Onomah were both left out of Tottenham’s pre-season tour to the Far East with Sessegnon potentially becoming the successor to Danny Rose who also remained at home to arrange a potential exit from the club.

Sessegnon is out of contract with the Championship side this summer and risk losing him for free at the end of next season.
