With the summer transfer window now in full flow, Tottenham Hotspur and North London rivals Arsenal have been linked with the same player on more than one occasion.

With both clubs already said to be preparing to lock horns to sign 18-year-old Saint-Etienne central defender William Saliba (RMC Sport), Arsenal are rumoured to have added another transfer target to their radar who has previously interested Spurs.

According to The Sun, Unai Emery is preparing a £12 million offer for Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen amid interest from Spurs, who have been tracking his progress since January (Football.London).

Bowen has impressed in the Championship during the past season having found the back of the net on 22 occasions.

He is being considered by the Europa League regulars as an alternative to Wilfried Zaha, who appears to be out of their price range after Crystal Palace slapped a £100 million price tag on the head of the Ivory Coast international (Daily Mail).

Spurs do not have an infinite amount of money to spend during the current window and with the expected arrivals of Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke, a move for Bowen seems unlikely at this time when the club should be prioritising a move for the likes of Giovani Lo Celso or PSV’s Steven Bergwijn.
