Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier has reportedly expressed his desire to complete a move to AC Milan.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the Rossoneri have once again opened discussion’s with the Ivorian’s representatives in a bid to take him to Serie A.

The 27-year-old became Jose Mourinho’s first choice option at right-back following his arrival in North London in late November.

Italian legend Paolo Maldini, who is now a director of the club has confirmed that AC Milan held previous talks last year with Aurier’s agent over a switch to the San Siro (Sky Sport Italia).

Spurs could be soon left without an established right-back within their ranks with Kyle Walker-Peters rumoured to be closing in on a move to Southampton after a deal worth around £12million was agreed in principle with the Saints (Sky Sports).

Aurier admitted to coming close to leaving Spurs last summer (Bal des Productions) after failing to hit the expected heights in his first two seasons in North London following his £23million move from PSG (Guardian).
