Report: Football expert claims Ajax star wants to join Spurs or Manchester United

Tottenham Hotspur look set to bolster their squad this summer in the transfer market, especially following Christian Eriksen’s revelation that he wishes to leave the club to seek a new challenge (Ekstra Bladet).

One player who has been linked with potentially filling the void left if the Dane departs North London ahead of the new season is Ajax’s Donny Van de Beek.

The Mail have previously reported that Mauricio Pocehttino’s side are in the hunt for Van de Beek’s signature, with the midfielder valued at around £45 million.

The 22-year-old has been one of Ajax’s most impressive players this season caught the eye against Tottenham in the Champions League semi-finals, when he scored the winner in the first leg in North London.

Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT this morning that Van de Beek wants to move to the Premier League and is keen to join either Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United.
