Report: Levy ready to listen to offers for Tottenham star

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is ready to listen to offers for Mousa Dembele in the January transfer window.

The Daily Telegraph report that Mauricio Pochettino is fully expectant of Levy to interact in any dialogue with potential suitors for the Belgian international.

Dembele will only have six months to run on his current Spurs deal when the transfer window opens next month.

The 31-year-old can walk away from the club next summer and January could represent the last opportunity for Levy to receive any kind of transfer fee.

The Sun reported in September that Dembele could be on his way to China with Beijing Sinobo Guoan ready to offer him an eye-watering £192,000 a week.

He is able to sign a pre-contract with an overseas club in the new year if he chooses to run down his contract, but the Chinese side were keen to recruit him in time for the start of their season in February.

Dembele joined Tottenham from Fulham in August 2012 for an undisclosed fee (BBC).
