Report: Liverpool weighing up whether to sell Spurs-linked player

Liverpool are reportedly considering whether to sell Rhian Brewster this summer while potentially inserting a buy-back clause.

Tottenham Hotspur were said to be considering making a loan move for the 20-year-old in order to provide cover for Harry Kane and failed to land him on a permanent basis two years ago (Football Insider).

The North Londoners are facing a hectic fixture schedule due to their involvement in the Europa League qualification stages, Premier League and Carabao Cup.

Mourinho’s side could take part in as many as nine games in the first 22 days of the season, including on more than one occasion, two in the space of 48 hours which would certainly stretch the likes of Kane.

Sky Sports claim that the Premier League champions are yet to make a final decision on Brewster’s future at Anfield.

The England Under-21 international is also said to have attracted interest from Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brighton and Sheffield United.
