Report: Midfielder’s agent flies into the UK for talks with Spurs and Man Utd

The agent of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes has reportedly flown to England to hold discussions with two Premier League clubs over a potential move ahead of the new season.

According to a report in today’s edition of Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha, agent Miguel Pinho will meet with both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United during his trip to push forward his departure.

Fernandes bagged 32 goals for Sporting last season and grabbed 18 assists in his 53 matches which has seen him become one of the most talked about potential transfers in Europe during the current transfer window.

A report from the Daily Mail earlier this week had claimed that Spurs had withdrawn their interest in the attacking midfielder who will cost upwards of £50million.

However, this claim has now been conflicted by reports in his homeland with A Bola also reporting about Pinho’s visit to United and Spurs.

Below are today’s editions of Correio da Manha and A Bola who are both covering the story.
