Report: Ndombele is here; the length of contract he will sign at Spurs

Tanguy Ndombele has arrived at Tottenham’s Hotspur Way training ground this morning to complete a club record transfer deal.

Sky Sports are reporting that the Lyon midfielder began his medical at a North London hospital at 9 am this morning and was seen heading to the club’s training ground and arrived at around 11 am to complete the rest of his assessment.

The report claims that the French international will sign a five year deal with the Champions League finalists with the option of a further year with a fee said to be in the region of £65million which would be a club record amount that comfortably exceeds the previous record when Spurs recruited Davinson Sanchez from Ajax in 2017.

Personal terms for the 22-year-old are not expected to be an issue and his signature would be a huge boost for the club.

Ndombele was regarded as Mauricio Pochettino’s top summer transfer target and is fantastic news that Daniel Levy has backed the manager to land the player.
