Rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Mike Maignan could be on his way out of Lille with reports that the French club are set to buy a new goalkeeper.
France Football claim that the Ligue 1 outfit are set to sign Napoli goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis.
The two clubs are said to have been locked in talks over a deal to take striker Victor Osimhen to Italy, but attention have also turned to Karnezis in a deal which is said to be around £4.5million.
Le10 Sport reported earlier this month that Tottenham have been monitoring Maignan’s situation closely.
Maigan, 25, made 37 appearances for Lille last season, managing to keep a clean sheet in 13 of those matches (transfermarkt).
I’m not sure that a goalkeeper should be high up on our shopping list this summer given the impressive form which Hugo Lloris has shown since coming back into the side following his elbow injury.
There are bigger positional concerns outfield in key areas such as full-back, defensive midfield and a back-up striker for Harry Kane.
