Report: Rumoured target has snubbed four clubs to wait for Spurs switch

Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has reportedly snubbed the interest of four clubs such is his desire to complete a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Echo claim that the Danish international has already turned down a move to Everton and was also attracting attention from three clubs on the continent.

The report suggests that the three European clubs all submitted offers in the region of Southampton’s £25million asking price.

Hojbjerg has a year to run on his existing contract at St Mary’s and was stripped of the captaincy in June after making public his desire to move to a bigger club (BBC).

Tottenham are said to value the 24-year-old at around £15million with Daniel Levy also valuing Kyle Walker-Peters, who impressed on loan on the south coast for a similar fee.

The Saints want to keep a deal for Walker-Peters to be a separate piece of business not to cause any confusion with the two transfer valuations.
