Report: Sky reveal the length of contract Ndombele will sign at Spurs

Tanguy Ndombele is expected to undergo a medical ahead of completing a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the next few days according to Sky Sports.

The report claims that the Lyon midfielder will sign a five year contract in North London for a fee in the region of £65million, which will be a club record deal.

The 22-year-old French international was also wanted by Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but was said to have been left impressed by Mauricio Pochettino who has convinced the player that they will look to compete for the Premier League title this season (The Mirror).

The deal represents a substantial profit for Lyon, who only signed the midfielder from Amiens a year ago for a bargain £7million (Sky Sports).

The Mirror also claim that Ndombele has already been to Hotspur Way to check out the facilities at the training ground which left him in no doubt that his future should lie in North London.

Ndombele has four international caps to his name and is looking to push for a place in the French squad for Euro 2020.
