Report: Spurs and Arsenal keen on Serie A winger who is available for £35m

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interesting in signing AC Milan winger Suso, according to Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato.

Suso, a full Spanish international started his professional football career at Liverpool but has come to prominence at Milan where he scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 41 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A giants.

He has been an important figure for them over the last three seasons, playing in the majority of Milan’s fixtures.

Suso, who has four international caps for Spain to his name, has a £35 million release clause inserted into his current contract with Milan, according to the Mirror which is a reasonable amount of money in today’s inflated transfer market.

Calcio Mercato also claim that Premier League rivals Arsenal and West Ham United are keen on the 25-year-old, along with Atletico Madrid.

Tottenham are certainly lacking some options out wide with Erik Lamela continuing to pick up injury after injury each season while others such as Georges-Kevin Nkoudou have failed miserably.
