Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino reportedly held transfer talks with Adrien Rabiot last night.

According to the Daily Star, Pochettino is preparing an offer for the representatives of the PSG player and spoke to the midfielder on the phone to discuss a potential switch to Tottenham.
Rabiot becomes a free agent in the summer and talks over a new deal at PSG have ground to a halt, with the player expected to depart the French giants.
The Metro claim that Barcelona were front runners to land the 23-year-old and it was said that the player had already agreed on personal terms over a switch to the Nou Camp.
PSG have reportedly put a £13million valuation on Rabiot, with PSG’s sporting director Antero Henrique confirming last month that the player will leave the club in the summer.
France Football report that Tottenham will launch a bid in the coming hours to try and tempt him to make the switch to the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino is currently a player light in the centre of midfield after Mousa Dembele made the switch to China.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Will not happen!
Levy is the stumbling block at Spurs and has been for sometime he is holding the teams progress by failing to offer good wages and low bids for New players

  2. Well, we all certainly do not know the financials at Spurs. The money certainly is not never ending for players. Part (maybe most) of this is down to the excessive demands by players (think of Sanchez at a reported 500K/week and hardly playing). Another part is the stadium and the training center cost. Arsenhole went through something similar when they built their latest stadium.

I admit that with the current injury problems that we are light in the correct bench players. MoPo has also said repeatedly that players that come in mid-season and later in the summer window just do not get time to blend in with the team before playing.
