Report: Spurs identify two players who could be sold to fund move for right-back

Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be ready to sell either Serge Aurier or Juan Foyth this summer in order to fund a move for Lille’s Zeki Celik.

The Telegraph claim that the North Londoners must first look to offload some of their players in order to generate funds to spend on new transfer targets.

Celik, has impressed at right-back for Lille following his move from Istanbulspor in the Turkish second tier in July 2018 with the French club paying just €2.5m (Sport Witness).

The report claims that Spurs have earmarked Celik as one of their top targets to bolster the right-side of their defence with Kyle Walker-Peters set to join Southampton on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell.

AC Milan are said to be keen on taking Aurier to Serie A with the report suggesting that Leeds United could be a possible destination for Foyth.

Celik made 32 appearances for Lille last season, providing three assists (transfermarkt).
