Tottenham Hotspur are reported to have contacted Copenhagen over a move for 23-year-old Robert Skov.
Skov started his career at Danish side Silkeborg making 102 appearances and scoring 23 goals before joining Copenhagen in January 2018 for just £1million (Sky Sports).
The winger has caught the eye after breaking the Danish Superliga record for the most goals in a season after finding the back of the net on 29 occasions which helped his club to a third domestic title in four years.
Spanish news outlet El Desmarque are reporting that Spurs have now been in touch with Copenhagen along with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Celta Vigo to enquire about the player who is valued at around €12million.
Skov is under contract until 2022 and at the valuation mentioned he would certainly be considered in today’s inflated transfer market a low-risk gamble.
Spurs have also been heavily linked with a move for another winger in Leeds United’s Jack Clarke with the Evening Standard claiming that a deal is progressing in the right direction.
We have desperately missed players who possess natural width to their game within our squad and are often guilty of trying to play our way through the middle of opposition.
Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has failed to live up to expectations at Spurs but did show in the away game at Fulham what a well-delivered cross into the penalty area can do when Harry Winks headed home a last-gasp winner.
