Report: Spurs meet with Juventus director to discuss six players on offer

Tottenham Hotspur are reported to have held a meeting with Juventus director Fabio Paratici earlier this week.

Two Italian news outlets Gazzetta Dello Sport and Sport Media Set both carry news of Paratici’s trip to the capital.

Gazzetta Dello Sport claim that the Juventus official first met with representatives of Tottenham Hotspur at a London hotel followed by subsequent meetings with Manchester United, West Ham United and Aston Villa.

It is reported that the purpose of Paratici’s visit was to generate interest in some of the Old Lady’s fringe players.

The names mentioned included Federico Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa, Alex Sandro, Sami Khedira, Daniele Rugani and Mattia De Sciglio as players who could potentially leave the Serie A champions as they look to streamline their squad ahead of the new campaign in order to generate funds for new transfer targets.

Tottenham have already bolstered their squad during the off-season following the arrivals of midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and goalkeeper Joe Hart.
