Report: Spurs midfielder tipped to leave the club this month

Mousa Dembele will leave Tottenham Hotspur this month to complete a big money move to China, according to French outlet Euro United.

The midfielder who is currently sidelined with ankle ligament damage that he sustained in the first half of the victory at Wolves in early November.

His contract is due to expire at the end of the season which allows him to begin talks with foreign clubs from today about a possible exit.

Dembele has been hit by a string of minor injuries over the past few years and is often limited to just 60 minutes when he starts a match.

By allowing Dembele to leave this month, it would allow Tottenham to receive some transfer funds or risk him leaving for free in the summer.

Beijing Sinobo Guoan wanted to take the ex-Fulham man last January but failed with an offer (The Sun) and would substantially improve his salary along with a huge signing on fee.
