Report: Spurs player still high up on Italian giants’ summer shopping list

Tanguy Ndombele’s future at Tottenham Hotspur continues to be the subject of column pieces in the Italian media.

The French international arrived in North London last summer for a club record £63million and penned a six-year contract (Sky Sports).

Ndombele has endured a difficult first season in the Premier League having only managed to start 12 top flight games (transfermarkt).

Yesterday’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport claimed that Inter Milan will have to do a swap deal or sell players to raise funds to go after Ndombele or Chelsea’s N’golo Kante with Marcelo Brozovic and Milan Škriniar mentioned as those most likely to depart the Serie A giants.

The report suggests that Inter boss Antonio Conte is currently focusing on the Europa League final but has a midfielder high on his summer wish list, however there are question marks over his future at the club.

The Mirror previously reported that the 23-year-old is unhappy at Tottenham and is keen on a move to Inter Milan.
