Report: Spurs player told to find a new club before tomorrow’s deadline

Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers is attracting interest from Bournemouth ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

Football Insider claim that the south coast outfit are keen to sign the central defender, after previously looking to bring him to the Vitality Stadium last month on a loan deal.

The USA international’s first team opportunities in North London have been few and far between and he has had five loan moves away since 2017, gaining experience at Sheffield United, Ipswich Town, Swansea, Stoke and Luton Town last season where he made 16 appearances (transfermarkt).

The report claims that Carter-Vickers has been told to find a new club before the window closes at 5pm on Friday and are holding out for between £2.5million-3million.

The 22-year-old who came through the ranks at Tottenham has also been rumoured to be a potential option as a makeweight in a player plus cash deal to bring Joe Rodon to the club from Swansea City.
