Report: Spurs receive injury boost ahead of Crystal Palace visit

Tottenham Hotspur are set to be boosted by the return of Kyle Walker-Peters.

The defender missed the North London derby last weekend after being forced off in the second half of the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United with a hamstring problem.

Mauricio Pochettino decided to move Davinson Sanchez from the middle of his defence to right-back against Arsenal in an experiment which saw the Colombian struggle.

Pochettino decided to overlook natural right-back Serge Aurier who had to make do with a place on the bench.

Aurier had been linked with a possible return to former club PSG during the summer transfer window but a move failed to materialise (The Sun).

Walker-Peters is expected to return to training at Hotspur Way this week ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace to N17 in the Premier League on Saturday (The Sun).

Pochettino will have to decide whether he is fit enough to face the Eagles or keep him for the trip to Olympiacos in the Champions League opener just four days later.
