Report: Spurs set to be boosted by return of striker next week

Heung-min Son is set to return to Tottenham Hotspur next week following his return from South Korea.

The Spurs forward travelled back to his homeland in February to undergo surgery to repair the fracture to his right arm which he sustained in the 3-2 victory at Aston Villa.

The procedure was held in Seoul which is located just 150 miles from two of the worst affected areas in the country by the coronavirus outbreak.

Son had a metal plate inserted in his arm three years ago after fracturing his right forearm and wanted the same surgeon to carry out his latest operation (Daily Mail).

The Evening Standard claim that the 27-year-old was not forced to self isolate following his arrival back in London but instead decided to remain away from the club for the past fortnight as a precaution given the situation back in South Korea which has been hit hard by the pandemic.

The Premier League’s decision to postpone the top flight until at least April 4th could see Son return to action next month.
