Report: Spurs’ upcoming match set to go ahead despite bomb discovery

Tottenham Hotspur headed into the international break in the unfamiliar position of twelfth in the Premier League table after suffering a terrible start to the season.

Spurs will be looking to get their campaign back on track when they face West Ham United on Saturday.

The Sun report that the fixture at the London Stadium will still go ahead despite the recent discovery of a bomb in the local area.

The bomb which was dropped on London during World War Two was found close to the stadium during the development of an apartment block which the area being ruled safe for the time being.

It is claimed that Arsenal’s trip to the London Stadium on Monday December 9th is at risk of being postponed with specialist bomb disposal experts set to remove it following the visit of Tottenham.

Just a point currently separates Spurs from West Ham United in the table.
