LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane will train with Tottenham for the next two weeks.
Keane however will not be joining Spurs on a loan basis after he earlier ruled out the possibility of joining QPR on a temporary basis. Instead the 32-year-old will train with AVB’s squad in order to maintain his fitness prior to the new MLS season in March.
He spent eight years at White Hart Lane with a spell at Liverpool in between before heading Stateside to LA.
Keane told Sky Sports a fortnight ago: “It’s been a long season, with the Euros and what have you. I’ve a few little niggles that need to be sorted out so I don’t think at this moment in time it would be right for me to go anywhere,”
