Robbie Savage predicts if Spurs will beat Chelsea to fourth place

Former Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage has given his prediction on how the Premier League’s top 10 will look at the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur currently find themselves in fifth place in the table and are just four points behind rivals Chelsea in fourth place following the impressive 2-0 victory against Manchester City on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino guided Tottenham to four successive top four finishes, with Jose Mourinho looking to make it five in a row to secure another season of Champions League football.

Missing out on qualification for European football’s most prestigious club competition can result in a huge financial blow.

Savage believes that Chelsea will pip Tottenham to fourth place by just three points.

Spurs are due to travel to Stamford Bridge later this month to take on Frank Lampard’s side which could turn out to be pivotal in deciding who finishes in the top four.

Savage shared the following prediction with The Mirror where he shared how many points he believes each side in the top ten will have tallied up by the end of the campaign.

Liverpool – 110 points (only two of the current top eight left to play)

Manchester City – 78pts (four of the top eight to play)

Leicester – 74pts (five of the top eight to play)

Chelsea – 66pts (six of the top eight to play)

Tottenham – 63pts (five of the top eight to play)

Manchester United – 61pts (five of the top eight to play)

Wolves – 60

Sheffield United – 54

Arsenal – 53

Everton – 52
