Roberto Soldado sends message to Christian Eriksen following Burnley win

Roberto Soldado has once again showed support to his former side by sending a tweet to Christian Eriksen following Tottenham Hotspur’s late win against Burnley.

Eriksen was once again the matchwinner in a similar goal to the one he scored against Inter Milan at the same end at Wembley to ensure Spurs take the maximum amount of points and keep their hold on a top four place.

The Dane, who played the full 90 minutes against Barcelona in midweek was named amongst the substitutes today and came on for Lucas Moura on 65 minutes.

Just when it looked to be an afternoon of frustration for Spurs, some superb hold up play by Harry Kane in injury time saw him lay the ball off to Christian Eriksen who made no mistake with his shot past Joe Hart.

Soldado took to Twitter to send his former team-mate a message of congratulations following his winning goal.

While Soldado failed to make an impact at Spurs, he is known to still watch our matches.
