Ryan Mason takes to Twitter after another offside goal for Liverpool

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason shared his thoughts on social media after Liverpool were gifted yet another goal due to an error.

Liverpool found themselves a goal behind against Southampton but levelled the score on 36 minutes through a Naby Keita header.

Mohamed Salah was clearly offside a minute or so earlier in the build-up to the goal which was missed by the assistant referee in what is the latest in the series of gaffes from officials which have seen Jurgen Klopp’s side gifted goals in their bid for the Premier League title.

Mason, who is now involved with coaching at the Spurs academy after his career was cruelly cut short after suffering a fractured skull against Chelsea at just the age of 26 wrote on Twitter: ‘Another offside one for Liverpool’ which was accompanied by the emoji of a monkey covering its eyes.

If Liverpool do end up lifting the Premier League title, they should certainly thank Jordan Pickford, Hugo Lloris and the endless officials who have helped them along the way.
