SD: I am afraid the Real Madrid 3 gossip is way off the mark.  Simple fact is Spurs dont have any money and have to sell first.  I have heard from a source inside that they are fed up he has not been able to offload the likes of Bent, Bentley, Pavluchenko etc.  Vieira was a desperate punt to dislodge Jenas and make some cash but thats not even going to work.  It seems no business will be done this summer at all as they spent havily in January.  Sorry to dissapoint but the press call for tomorrow is to announce the club don’t intend to make any purchases and to stay with what they have, thats why Levy has gone into hiding on holiday.

Gov: There is a press conference pencilled in at the lodge tomorrow at 3pm. We will be announcing the following signings:-
Huntelaar, Robben and Heinze. All 3 have signed deals with us around a week ago, we have tried to play this down due to us pursuing other targets and Levy wanted to keep how much money we have out of the press for once. Levy is now on holiday in Florida. Our transfer business is all but finished. Why else would a Chairman of a Premier League club go on holiday during the silly season?

Also look out for the signing of Naughton and Carew next week. again all but signed but didn’t want to announce them in one go due to the coverage the Madrid lot will get. Oh and the squad numbers are, Huntelaar – 19, Robben – 11 Heinze -4, Carew will wear 15 with keane moving back to 10 once Bent has gone.

MartinH: I’ve been told that Chris Gunter will tie up another move to Nottingham Forest in the next few days, but this time he will be leaving on a permanent transfer.

RogTHFC: Huntelaar wants to join us, expect him to sign on Friday.  The Ashley Young deal could now be in doubt after both parties are failing to agree terms.
