To rub extra salt into the wounds, the Hammers have also become the first side to both score and win a match at Tottenham’s new stadium.
The defeat means that Chelsea and Arsenal both have the opportunity to close the gap on third-place Tottenham which sets up two nervy final fixtures against Brighton and Everton if Mauricio Pochettino’s side are to play another season of Champions League football.
