Son expresses his unhappiness

Heung-min Son has stated that his goal against Juventus means nothing after Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League exit to Juventus.

The South Korean send the Spurs fans into frenzy when he fired us ahead after 39 minutes to give us a two goal advantage against the Italian giants.

The game was turned on its head within three second half minutes when first Gonzalo Higuain scored, and Paulo Dybala condemned us to defeat.

It was a frustrating way to bow out of the Champions League when we were the better team over the majority of both legs, however, it all comes down to how clinical the Old Lady were in front of goal when you consider that their first two shots on target resulted in goals.

Son told Sky Sports News: “Scoring goals is not important, we are out of the Champions League. I am still not happy about the result.

“I am not a guy who scores goals and is happy but we lose. I am not this guy. I want to win every game, I want to score goals in every game.

“Scoring goals is not important for me now, the result is more important.”

We now need to finish the season on a high. We need a top four finish and an FA Cup final win. Attention immediately turns to Sunday’s game against Bournemouth.
