Spaniard would snub Spurs move

AC Milan winger Suso has ruled out a summer move, with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool said to have been keen to sign the player.

The former Liverpool player has scored 15 goals and provided 26 assists in 93 appearances since his move to Serie A, but insists that his heart remains with Milan.

His current contract at the San Siro is said to contain a £35million release clause, but it looks as if Tottenham will have to look for wide options elsewhere. Personally, I would rather see us try and break the bank by signing Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, a player who has a proven Premier League pedigree.

Suso is happy with life in Italy

I’ve had enough of us signing the likes of Clinton N’Jie and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, we need to bring in players who we know can hit the ground running.

Suso, 24, was quoted by Calcio Mercato as saying: “I have always said that I am very well here, that I found myself very well and that there is nothing that can make me think I have to leave.

“The team and if the company wants to grow with me, I will be happy because now Milan is my home. We do not have to start over from scratch again. There is finally a base on which to add new elements, Gattuso knows what should be right and we’ll start from that point.”
