Spurs announce new appointment and restructure

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed an restructure which has lead to the creation of a new board.

Daniel Levy will chair the new Football Board which consists of Rebecca Caplehorn, Steve Hitchen and the newly appointed Trevor Birch.

Spurs revealed earlier this evening that they have appointed Birch as their new Director of Football Operations.

Birch leaves his role at Championship outfit Swansea City having been appointed as Huw Jenkins’ successor in March 2019 and had previously been employed at Chelsea and Everton as chief executive

Rebecca Caplehorn takes on the role of Director of Football Administration and Governance which will see her having more time to focus on the European Club Association, the FA and other governing bodies and working groups where she represents the on behalf of the club.

Chief Scout Steve Hitchen takes up a new role of Technical Performance Director where is his responsible for for scouting, performance and recruitment analysis and youth recruitment.
