Not for a while has a North London derby been so hotly anticipated and William Hill make Spurs 13/10 favourites to emerge victorious.

As things stand, Spurs have the upper hand over their rivals (four points clear) and they are 4/6 to maintain some form of advantage over their rivals come the end of the season. Tottenham are 11/4 to seal third spot in the table and 9/4 to grab fourth.

“This is one of the closest match ups between the two in years and the number of bets taken will likely go through the roof,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

With six goals in four games, Gareth Bale is the name on everyone’s lips and the Welshman is 5/1 to score the first goal and 5/4 to score anytime in the match. He is 16/1 to score at least one per game for the next four Premier League fixtures.

After Adebayor saw red last time around at the Emirates, it is 5/2 for anyone to be sent off on Sunday.
