Spurs boosted by the return of three players ahead of Chelsea match

Tottenham Hotspur have revealed that three midfielders have returned to training after recovering from their respective injuries.

The news comes as a timely boost ahead of tomorrow night’s Carabao Cup semi final second leg against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side taking a narrow one goal advantage into the London derby.

Lucas Moura, who has been out of action since the FA Cup win at Tranmere returns from a knee problem and was on the training field at Hotspur Way this morning along with Moussa Sissoko, who has recovered from the groin issue he picked up in the recent 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.

Most surprisingly was the news that Victor Wanyama trained after his ongoing knee issues. It remains unknown if he will be considered for selection for the match at Chelsea.

Dele Alli and Harry Kane are ruled out with hamstring and ankle injuries, while Heung-min Son is on international duty with South Korea at the Asian Cup.
