Spurs confirm loan exit for academy product

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that academy product Timothy Eyomah has joined Lincoln City on loan for the rest of the season.

The announcement was made just seconds after the club had revealed that Danny Rose had made a loan switch to Newcastle United.

Eyomah becomes the latest more youngster to be sent out on loan this month in order to gain a taste of regular first team football, following Kyle Walker-Peters, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Brandon Austin, Jack Clarke and Armando Shashoua.

The right-back, who can also operate in the middle of defence made his senior debut for Spurs in last season’s FA Cup third round win at Tranmere Rovers but has failed to feature since despite being named as a substitute on more than one occasion.

Lincoln find themselves currently in fourteenth place in League One with Eyomah having joined in time to put himself in contention to be included in the squad which travel to Southend United on Saturday.
