Spurs confirm opponents for test event at the new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that their legends side will take on Inter Milan on Saturday 30th March at the new stadium with a kick off time of 5:30pm.

The fixture has been arranged in order for the club to achieve a formal safety certificate in order for competitive, full capacity fixtures to be held at the 62,062 seater stadium.

Inter’s visit will see the stadium open to 45,000 supporters and follows the first event which will take between Tottenham’s U18’s and their Southampton counterparts on Sunday 24th March with a kick off time of 3pm.

Both sides are yet to confirm their squads for the match, with Inter having the potential to include the likes of Javier Zanetti, Francesco Toldo, Dejan Stankovic and Luis Figo.

Applications are currently open to season ticket holders to attend either test event and will close at 5pm on Wednesday.

Spurs will play their first competitive fixture at their new home early next month against either Brighton or Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
