Spurs confirm the manager and first set of legends for fixture against Inter Milan at the new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the name of some of the former players who will be facing Inter Milan in a legends game later this month.

The fixture has been arranged as a test event as part of the club’s plans to gain a full safety certificate ahead of opening the 62,062 seater capacity stadium next month for competitive football.

The match against Inter Milan will be played in front of 45,000 supporters on Saturday March 30th with kick-off at 5:30pm.

Spurs have confirmed with a post on the club’s official website that the following players will be taking part and pull on the famous Spurs shirt once more.

Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane, Rafael van der Vaart, Allan Nielsen, David Howells, Stephen Carr, Darren Anderton and Erik Thorsvedt. The team will be managed by former captain Gary Mabbutt.

The first test event held at the stadium will be an Under 18 fixture between Spurs and their Southampton counterparts on Sunday 24th March.
