Spurs face risk of transfer target snub

Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon could reject moves to big Premier League clubs if they gain promotion from the Championship this season.

The 17-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur for well over a year, but according to The Sun, Mauricio Pochettino could be set to miss out.

The England Under-21 star is valued at around £30million by the Cottagers and is regarded as the brightest young talent who is currently playing in the domestic leagues outside of the top flight.

Fulham are currently third in the Championship, seven points off second-placed Cardiff City and could face the lottery of the play-offs, if they fail to catch the Welsh side.

Sessegnon has scored 14 goals in all competitions for Fulham this season and would be a fantastic signing for Spurs, fitting our criteria of signing young English talent, but could face stiff competition from Manchester United.
