Spurs fan: It was cider, not urine I threw at West Ham fans

A Tottenham Hotspur fan who was captured on video throwing urine in a plastic cup at West Ham United supporters has claimed that it was actually cider.

The video came to light on social media following Tottenham’s embarrassing 3-2 defeat to the Hammers at Wembley in the League Cup on Wednesday evening, after throwing away a two goal lead at half time.

The Sun identified the Spurs fan who threw the cup and caught up with him an in interview where he pleads that it wasn’t his own bodily fluid which he launched across a section of the stadium.

The below clip shows the stunt and is not suitable for younger viewers.

The prank has been condemned by many Spurs fans on social media.

The fan has been named as Lucas Louka and he told The Sun: “We switched it to a cup of cider while we were filming and that’s what I threw,”

“It was just a bit of banter.

“It’s a prank gone wrong. I’ve probably let the club down but I want people to know it’s not what it seems.”

A Tottenham spokesman said: “This behaviour is unacceptable and we are currently investigating and working to identify the individual responsible.”
