Moussa Sissoko has come in for a lot of criticism from Tottenham Hotspur fans since his £30million move from Newcastle United.
Fans took to Twitter to give their verdict on the French international’s 90-minute performance in the 3-0 win against Swansea City earlier today.
Sissoko started in the middle of midfield alongside Eric Dier and put in a decent shift which saw Spurs book their place in the semi final of the FA Cup, where we will find out our opponents when the draw is made tomorrow.
Here’s a selection of Tweets which gave some fan insight into Sissoko’s display.
What did you make of Moussa? Have your say below…
Good to hear the away fans chanting #MoussaSissoko towards the end, he’s had a good game.. #COYS #THFC

Sissoko was outstanding today. I don’t care if it was “Only Swansea” he put himself about today and I respect that. Possibly his best performance in a spurs shirt. Keep your head up @MoussaSissoko #COYS ??

I thought Moussa Sissoko had a very good steady game today. Yes he will probably get slagged off by some not all Spurs supporters but all in all he did what he had to do to get us this 0-3 win ??

Have something to tell us about this article?
Cant believe these twats that criticise lamela then claim sissoko had a good because he wasnt shit as normally is.
That fact he didnt smell as bad as he did in he’s last games. He still smelt bad, shit is shit and he will never become better than what he is, and hes at his peak age right now. Jeesus
When you hate, you really do hate.
By his own standards yesterday’s was a reasonably good performance. However his final ball and general decision making leaves a lot to be desired. When he is in a good shooting position he seems to have too many thoughts in his mind as to what to do with the ball.
Yes it was against a Swansea side that offered very little offensively, but hopefully he can build on that performance which should give him added confidence. And believe me I have been very critical of him since he arrived.
Everyone spoke about his games for France in the Euros and he did make a number of strong runs at the heart of the opponents’ defence, but it always ended in disappointment because he didn’t know what to do having got into good situations.
