Tottenham Hotspur fans have wasted no time in making fun of West Ham United after our Under-18 side absolutely thrashed their counterparts 9-0 at Little Heath earlier today.
It was an absolutely dominating display from U18 coach Matt Wells’ team. It took Tottenham 45 minutes to score the first goal when White’s cross from the right flank deflected off a defender and went in at the far post.
Spurs added a second in first-half stoppage time through Richards. Seven goals followed in the second half from White, Richards, Parrott (2), Bennett, Markanday and Clarke to humiliate the Hammers on their own patch.
Some Spurs fans took to Twitter to revel in the scoreline. Here’s a selection of reaction.
West Ham the gift that keeps on giving.
