Spurs fans react to Jan Vertonghen goal

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been taking to Twitter to react to Jan Vertonghen’s first goal for the club since October 2013.

The big Belgian has been Tottenham’s Mr. Consistent this season with his performances in the heart of our defence and has been receiving some banter in the past from his team mates due to how long it has been since he last scored a goal.

Vertonghen finally managed to find the net by scoring our third goal, following a Harry Kane brace in the FA Cup third round tie against AFC Wimbledon at Wembley earlier today.

As you can see from below, even despite a deflection it wasn’t exactly a tap in which Super Jan scored to end his drought.
