TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR are said to be one of two clubs interested in Swedish striker Marcus Berg.

The 22-year-old impressed during the European Under 21 Championship last month, where he won the Golden Boot award with seven goals, including a hat-trick against Belarus.

Berg is currently playing his football in Holland for Groningen, and their manager Hans Nijland has admitted that he expects Berg to leave the club this summer.

“Soren Lerby, the agent of Marcus Berg, has informed us there is a really serious interest from two clubs in the Premier League,” Nijland told the Sunday Mirror.

“We have his replacement already lined up.”

Everton and Aston Villa are both also said to be tracking the forward.
