  1. Surely there is better out there. Someone hungry with potential. Ok, forlan has proved he can play in Spain but he also proved in can’t in the prem.

  2. Forlan would be a perfect signing for us and 10 million is a decent price. He is top quality and can give us a couple of good years.

  3. Forlan is a top talent with experience. One Ronnie Rosenthal miss for Utd and he's been tainted. Nonsense. His goals for that lot were all class. COYS! Sign him and Joe Cole!!! Do it!

  4. He was literally chased out of united, not by fergie but their fans. In the same way Berba is being at the moment and how Nani was almost during the January window. I don't think we should buy him because we don't have any one who can play with him upfront, at the moment the only strikers we have on our books who can compliment his technique are Keane and Gudjohnson (who both have uncertain futures). If we go in for him with the right price we should look to go in for someone like Suarez or Falcao as well.

  5. Anyone else see Redknapp putting him in his 'team of the tournament' and then mentioning that he wants to come to Spurs? Looks more and more likely this will happen – providing the clubs can agree a fee. I'd pay 12, personally. If we can get 8 for Keane then Forlan is easily worth a dozen.
