Spurs learn of who they will face in the Champions League round of 16

Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Borussia Dortmund in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side finished second in Group B behind Barcelona and qualified for the knockout stages with a tense game at the Nou Camp, where a draw proved to be enough following Inter Milan’s failure to beat PSV Eindhoven on their own turf.

Tottenham will play the first leg at home and it is unknown as of yet whether this will be held at Wembley or the new 62,062 seater stadium.

The round of 16 ties will be played over two legs, with games split over two weeks.

First legs: 13-14 & 19-20 February

Second legs: 5-6 & 12-13 March

Tottenham will be looking to go one further than they managed last year, after being knocked out at this stage to Juventus 4-3 on aggregate.

After drawing 2-2 in Turin in the first leg, Spurs lost 2-1 at Wembley in the second leg in a match they really should have won.
