Spurs legend insists he is waiting for Mike Dean’s two game ban

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to express his frustration at the FA’s lack of action against referee Mike Dean.

Mauricio Pochettino was this week handed a two match touchline suspension, as well as a £10,000 fine, for confronting Dean on the pitch following Spurs’ 2-1 defeat at Burnley last month.

As a result, Pochettino will have to watch the away matches at Southampton and Liverpool from the stands, while Mike Dean continues to go unpunished.

Pochettino and his assistant manager were incensed by something which Dean had to say and implored him to repeat the comment to the television camera which was in close proximity.

The Spurs boss was charged with two breaches of rule E3, which concerns the general behaviour of players and staff.

Dean has not faced any punishment or investigation into what he may have said to Pochettino and will be on duty as the fourth official during this weekend’s match between Newcastle and Everton.

Here’s what Roberts had to say on Twitter.
