Spurs legend is left speechless by the club’s new stadium

It is not just Tottenham Hotspur fans who have been left suitably impressed by the club’s amazing 62,062 capacity seater new home.

Former midfielder and manager Ossie Ardiles took to Twitter to share how delighted he was after seeing the new stadium for the first time. The Under 18’s had the honour of becoming the first side to play at the ground on Sunday when they beat Southampton 3-1.

Spurs legends will be the next side to grace the pitch this coming Saturday when they face an Inter Milan side in front of an expected crowd of 45,000 supporters which will act as the second and final test event before the club is awarded a safety certificate.

Mauricio Pochettino’s first team will play their first Premier League game there when Crystal Palace are the visitors in a Premier League fixture next Wednesday evening, which will also see an opening ceremony held thirty minutes before kick-off.

Ardiles admitted that there were no words he could use to describe the new stadium.
