Spurs linked with 21-goal striker

Tottenham and Hull are watching Guingamp striker Claudio Beauvue, with the French club willing to accept bids of £6m for the 27-year-old, who has scored 21 goals this season.

Guingamp President Bertrand Desplat confirmed that Hull and Tottenham had enquired while Beauvue, who is strong, quick and good in the air, said: ‘The deal I had with the club president was that I would leave in the event of a beautiful season.

‘The season has been very beautiful.’

The 27-year-old has scored 21 goals this season and also been watched by Everton and West Ham. He has decided to leave France and his club are willing to sell for around £6million.

  1. I've seen a lot of him this season and he reminds me of Jermain Defoe with a way improved work rate. His off the ball quality should fit MP style. I hoped Spurs would show interest so if it's true it only remains to be seen if he can adapt to the EPL. And by the way, the lad mentality seems to be top notch from what I've seen.
