Spurs-linked defender admits he is about to play his last game for current club

Rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Thiago Silva has admitted that he is about to play his last game for PSG.

The Brazilian is out of contract with the French giants following Sunday’s Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

The Sun reported in June that Tottenham could make a move to sign Silva this summer when he becomes a free agent.

Tottenham lost the services of central defender Jan Vertonghen last month following the expiration of his contract and the Belgian has since joined Benfica.

The Telegraph have claimed that the 35-year-old is keen on making the switch from Ligue 1 to the Premier League with Spurs potentially facing competition from rivals Chelsea who are considering adding the experienced stopper to their squad.

Silva is said to earn a massive £300,000 a week at the French champions and is prepared to take a substantial pay cut to join his next club.

He told RMC Sport Live as quoted by The Independent: “I don’t want to talk about [my future], because it is not going to help us, but I want us to celebrate all together the last game with a title,”
